Schools and fire risks from early season heat

Over 20 south coast schools closed on Tuesday ahead of end-of-year exam season after the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued a heatwave warning for NSW on Monday afternoon, as temperatures were not due to fall below 18°C for next three days and nights.
