Push to give teens a ‘taste of the trade’

Schools are being told to stop pressuring students into taking up university degrees and instead urge them to get a headstart on a skill or trade, as new figures reveal another drop in the number of vocational education students in NSW despite the nation’s acute shortage of skilled tradies.
