Self-determination theory and other associated academic considerations: Part 1

A great deal of research has taken place dealing with intrinsic and extrinsic influences pertaining to learning and learning engagement. There has especially been significant research by Richard Ryan and Edward Deci of how much influence intrinsic and extrinsic influences have on the thinking, behaviour, motivation, choices and accompanying actions by students, especially in relation to their education and learning.
