Indigenous Literacy Day – helping to close the gap

The Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s Indigenous Literacy Day takes place on Wednesday September 4. The focus of the national celebration of indigenous culture, story-telling, literacy and language is on drawing attention to the disadvantages faced by Indigenous peoples living in remote communities and to raise funds to buy much-needed literacy resources for these communities.
