Opinion: technology is the future

England is leading a quiet revolution in the world of education. In September, it becomes the first country in the world to mandate computer programming lessons in primary and secondary schools. Children will start learning to write code at the age of 5, and will continue until they are at least 16. Smaller countries such as Estonia are also part of this revolution, teaching Year 1 students how to create their own computer games.
