Disaster, waiting to happen?

For a long time, the provision of laptop computers - and more lately, notebooks - was within the realms of only elite private schools. This year will see the national rollout of individually managed technology for students throughout the secondary years as standard practice. Technology has changed rapidly, and students may be given a range of machines from laptops to newer technology like ipads, which are becoming a rapidly expanding and diverse market.
