Is direct instruction for all? Government program aimed at improving Indigenous literacy fails to hit the mark

A new study conducted by the  University of South Australia and Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education (BIITE) has found that a $30 million federal government program developed to improve literacy outcomes for Indigenous Australians has failed to meet its goals.
