Thank you Paul and Helen. I am a great admirer of your work and take inspiration from your studies on career changers’ motivations to switch to teaching. After a completing a doctorate on career change beginning teachers’ lived experiences in schools, I am now examining career changers from the STEM profession and what draws them to teaching.
