  1. The title of the article using classic left wing moral judgements on those who don’t prioritise the progressive agendas reaffirms another reason why I chose not to send my kids to public schools. The choice of parents to select the school that best reflects the aspirations and values of the parents, the families, and the children’s aspirations. These decisions should be supported rather than insinuations of moral prejudice and ignorance. I also chose an independent school because the state schools in our area were notorious for bullying and drugs. I suspect other parents are conscientiously doing their research and making their own informed decisions about what choice of school they believe will be best for their children. Is it merely a perception or prejudice problem or is it that state schools may not reflect the values and standards and educational experiences sought by parents?
