Education Review interview with Louiza Hebhardt

Education consultant Louiza Hebhardt is currently undertaking a doctorate at the University of Melbourne where she is in the initial stages of formulating her research plans in the area of teacher wellbeing, a topic which she spoke to Education Review about in this extended interview. Hebhardt has worked as both a teacher and school counsellor in a number of schools across sectors and systems in both Australia and the UK since 1996. She is the founder and director of EQUILIBRIUM which is a counselling, training and consulting service which specialises in teacher wellbeing. Hebhardt’s main interests in this work include the implementation of preventative strategies to improve wellbeing outcomes for her clients and in recent years this has included aspects related to Positive Psychology as it applies to working in education.
