Schools are to teach students pet-care, philanthropy and entrepreneurialism from next term. Under new plans being considered by the ministry for education, maths and English are to be dumped to make way for new subjects including bush fire preparedness, swimming and driving lessons, financial literacy and agriculture. It is understood history and science are also being reviewed to make way for more popular subjects being proposed, such as bomb awareness and weed awareness.
