Overcoming 100 years of humiliation: China’s education system receives an overhaul to align more with Xi thought

China is currently the top-ranked country in the OECD’s Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) ranking, an amazing achievement for a country sustaining 1.4 billion people and and large swathes of agricultural land where education is not a priority.
