Bad behaviour: Do Australian students really miss a third of lesson time?
According to Sally Larsen, the latest Centre for Independent Studies report survey design needs unpacking to ensure inferences made from the data are correct.
The Centre for Independent Studies (CIS) has released a report about student behaviour in Australian classrooms. Titled “Classrooms in Crisis: Australian teacher views on student behaviour”, the report presents the results from a 10-question survey of 377 primary and secondary school teachers. The survey was adapted and abridged from a similar survey that has been implemented in the UK.
