Poor support, full timetables, out-of-hours marking and planning, student welfare and shifting expectations, are all part of teachers’ stress loads.
The potential for psychosocial hazards such as parent conflict, poor student behaviour and long hours to affect school staff, often gets written off as “just part of the job.”
