Tas teachers reject pay deal as government warns of job cuts

The government already wants to shrink the public sector workforce by around 6.6 per cent by 2032, around 2500 jobs

The Tasmanian government faces the potential for industrial action across the state service as public school teachers joined other union colleagues in rejecting the state government’s three per cent pay offer.
