Qld Year 1 students to undergo funding-linked phonics test
The mandatory testing will be followed by numeracy testing, to start in Term 1 next year
Year 1 students across Queensland state schools will undertake compulsory phonics testing under a national plan that aims to improve literacy at a young age.
