Climate activists offer mock sick notes for students to skip school and rally

Students chucking a sickie to attend a national climate rally have been offered a mock doctor’s certificate – signed by two top scientists – that cites a “major climate health concern” preventing kids from being in the classroom.

Environmental activist group Schools Strike 4 Climate is hosting its national strike on Friday. It expects thousands of young Australians will ditch the schoolyard for city streets to raise awareness about climate change.
