In addition to certificated and practising teachers such as Jenny Lai, featured in "Call of distant voices" (Education Review June 19 2014), there is another group of Australians heading to the same places. These are non-professionally certificated teachers, armed with little more than a degree, an online ESL certificate and a sense of adventure.
