Reinvigorating the History of Education

Dr Paul Brock gave us reasons in 2010 (Learning from the paths we have trodden to get to where we are now. Australian Educational Leader, Vol. 33, No 1 2011). Brock used the metaphor of history as a spiral. We will make progress very slowly indeed if we do not recognise that others have been in similar situations before us.
