Perfecting pedagogy

I began teaching in New Zealand, where I trained, in 1982. My first appointment in NSW was in a Western Sydney primary school in a disadvantaged area. From 1987 – 2008 I taught in various schools in Western Sydney Region In 2009, I was appointed quality teaching consultant, science & technology and environmental education, K – 6. My current position is within the Curriculum K-12 Directorate managing a curriculum-based state wide environmental education program for students’ stages 2 – 5.
