Gov’t greenlights review of Teacher and Principal Standards
The current standards were put in place 15 years ago, with stakeholders recognising the need for them to be updated to reflect contemporary evidence and practice.
A review of the national Teacher Standards starts this month, running to February next year, after calls from key stakeholders for them to be updated.
