This is not required at this point in the implementation cycle. It is an exercise in “ideology imposition”. The reviewers, both known to be biased towards the Liberal philosophy, will not be impartial, despite Pyne’s claims. If I were an educator working at present, I would be saying “steady as she goes” and continue with the implementation schedule, and ignore what is sure to be just a review that pushes ideology and has nothing to do with ensuring the curriculum is “robust”. All that has been done already through proper consultation with stakeholders nationwide, over a number of years.
