$9.2bn allocated for school infrastructure in NSW state budget
It will fund the building of 17 new schools and upgrades for others, with $4.1bn set aside for Western Sydney and $2.3bn for regional NSW.
Almost $10bn has been allocated to building new schools in NSW to keep up with population demands, but this year’s state budget does not address teachers’ calls for more preparation time for classroom teachers.
