Labor, Coalition and Greens education policies compared

Australians will go to the polls this Saturday to choose the next government. The Australian Labor Party, the Liberal-National Coalition and the Australian Greens have a variety of different policies for education in the funding, curriculum and workforce spaces.

  1. The Coalition has no idea about education. last time they were in government they gutted TAFE and this has been a direct contributor to the skills shortage. Under them dodgy private providers proliferated. They even are not supportive of free Tafe…. good grief!! They talk of establishing Trade Colleges…. we already have them they are called TAFE Colleges. Teachers were extremely unhappy and left the profession in droves…this has changed under Labor. The Coalition demonised the profession. Any Educator votes for the Coalition is voting against their own self interest.
