Greater Sydney schools begin staggered return of students from October 25, but temporary closures are still a reality

The NSW Education Department has advised that temporary school closures could still be needed if COVID-19 cases are detected in schools, after announcing Sydney students will commence a staggered return to face-to face learning from October 25.
