EduTECH 2019: Cyber security services for schools

Technology has become such a critical part of education that schools require expert and reliable internet service providers.

Providers like Superloop can fit the bill, offering both internet infrastructure and cyber security services. Three years ago, Superloop joined forces with CyberHound to create a one-stop digital services shop for schools.

As well as offering firewall and web gateway protection, Superloop’s cyber security programs use analytics to detect whether students are at risk of self-harm. They can also help teachers monitor what students are looking at.

CyberHound’s CEO John Fisson spoke to Education Review at this year’s EduTECH conference. He believes schools must take internet security seriously as they face threats from both outside and inside their network.
