AITSL is governed by an independent Board of Directors who bring diverse professional experiences in educational practice, research and provision to the work of the Institute.

The Board includes nominees from all jurisdictions and a range of important stakeholders including the Catholic and independent education sectors, professional associations, teacher education unions and teacher educators.
